My 2013 Resolutions!

Ok, so here's the deal, I have never really made an official New Year's Resolutions List, but since 2012 was a great, although incredibly challenging, I decided I'll make one. Since I have developed tons of confidence in myself, I trust I'll be able to keep most, if not all, of my resolutions. So I'll enumerate ALL of my resolutions in this post, starting with book  and blog related resolutions!!

Books and Reading

  1. Read 50+ books! I set the Goodreads Widget
  2. Read at least 2 Contemporaries. It's a genre I want to love!
  3. Catch up on these series: Vampire Academy, The Iron Fey, Chicagoland Vampires, Fallen (Lauren Kate), Mortal Instrument. I don't mean I will FINISH these series, but at least read a book or two to catch up.
  4. Take notes while reading.

Blogging

  1. Be more active on the blog. Write more reviews and post at least once a week.
  2. Comment more on blogs.
  3. Make book-blogging friends. And hopefully find my book-blogging twin/BFF
  4. Reach 300 Blog followers, 1000 Twitter Followers and 150 Facebook Page followers.
  5. Spruce up the blog. Maybe buy a design, maybe move to Wordpress...

Fitness/Beauty

  1. Keep losing weight. I lost 21 lbs. this year and want to lose 30 more to get to my ideal 125 lbs. weight.
  2. Start cardio and weight training
  3. Keep a strict beauty regimen. Looking and feeling beautiful is good for my soul.

Personal

  1. Journal. Whether it is daily or weekly. Just DO IT!
  2. Start and finish writing my novel. And write it mainly for myself.
  3. Get my driving license.
  4. Keep loving myself.
  5. Keep being the best mother I can be.
Well, Those are my resolutions and aspirations for 2013, which, I hope, will carry throughout the rest of my life.
What are YOUR resolutions for this year? Link up your posts in the comments and keep on reading my friends!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read in 2013

  1. The entire Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. I only read book one so far but it was AWESOME and I can't wait to have a VA Marathon!
  2. City of Ashes and City of Glass by Cassandra Clare. I have been behind on this series!!!! Gotta get to it!!
  3. Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. Why haven't I read this yet!?!?!?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MOI!?
  4. The next few books in the Chicagoland Vampires series by Chloe Neill. I read the first one a few weeks ago and loved it SO SO SO SO MUCH I read it in, like, a day or 2. I think It'll have to be another Marathon!!!
  5. Lover Eternal by J.R Ward. I have no excuse as to why I have not yet read this, I will this year though!
  6. The Iron Queen and The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa. I can't wait to see wwhere the series goes from now!
  7. Cinder by Marissa Meyer. *bows head in shame* Gotta read this asap!
  8. Fever by Laure DeStefano. Duh!
  9. At least 2 Contemporary Novels. I bought a few, They're still laying over there, unread. And sad.
  10. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. Obviously!

That is all for me! Link me up in the comment section! I want to know which books are on your list!

Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing Me

  1. The entire Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. I only read book one so far but it was AWESOME and I can't wait to have a VA Marathon! So getting a pretty box set for Christmas or my birthday would be AWESOME!
  2. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I have been looking forward to this book since I first heard about it a while ago!!
  3. Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes. Now here is a book I just KNOW I would fall in love with!!
  4. Blood-Kissed Sky by J.A. London. It's the second book in the series and the first (Darkness Before Dawn) was one of my favorite books in 2012! I can't wait to see how the series will progress!
  5. Origin by Jessica Khoury. This was on my TBR pile when I moved and it was lost. I am very sad. :(
  6. The Dark Light by Sara Walsh. Also lost during my latest move... *sigh* Too many casualties.
  7. The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton. I have been pining for this book for EVER! I just need it!
  8. Surrender by Elena Johnson. The First book surprised me A LOT!!! And I just can't wait to start on the second in the series!
  9. Until I Die by Amy Plum. *facepalm* How have I not read this already!?!?!?! That's all I have to say!
  10. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. If Santa could work some Chrsitmas Magic and get me this gem of a book, even though it is released after Christmas, I'd gladly work as an elf for a year!!

That is all for me! Link me up in the comment section! I want to know which books are on your list!
